Michael D White DVM
I started the Animal Clinic of Ste. Genevieve LLC in 1992 along with my wife Virginia. Since that time I have had the honor and privilege of being able to help the people of Ste. Genevieve county and surrounding counties to care for their pets. I strive to treat every client and patient with due diligence and respect that I afford my own family and pets. I enjoy all aspects of the general practice of veterinary medicine and surgery, and find it most rewarding. I do my utmost to ensure good communication, compassion and quality care. I am a member of the AVMA, MAVA, AVMF, Partner For Healthy Pets, The Show-Me Response Disaster Relief, Missouri Volunteer Veterinary Corp, and The Knights of Columbus.
I was raised in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri. I went to the University of Missouri in Columbia, graduating with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. I received the Adriant J. Durant Memorial Award for outstanding ability & proficiency in the knowledge of poultry diseases. I came back to Ste. Genevieve with my wife Virginia to live and start the Animal Clinic of Ste, Genevieve. Both have been a blessing in my life! In my free time I enjoy restoring old cars, jeeping, geocaching and all things outdoors. I love coming to work everyday and have a true passion for veterinary medicine.
As practice manager and partner of the Animal Clinic of Ste. Genevieve, LLC, I started the clinic along with my husband, Dr. Michael White in 1992. I am proud how the Animal Clinic of Ste. Genevieve strives on the cutting edge of technology and advancements in veterinary medicine, and I love being able to provide clients with quality medical care at an affordable price, but most of all I treasure the relationships I have developed over the years with our clients and patients. Before working here I worked in the human medical field for 12 years as manager and in nursing, but nothing compares to the satisfaction I’ve experienced here after years of dedication and wonderful memories.
I was born and raised in this area. I have a son, daughter, seven grandchildren, three horses, two dogs, and four cats. I enjoy spending time with my family, Jeeping, Geocaching, hiking and swimming.

I started working at the Animal Clinic of Ste. Genevieve in March of 2015 as a veterinary assistant. Working here, I have been able to meet so many wonderful clients along with their variety of pets. I am currently attending Brown Mackie College to obtain my Associate of Applied Science Degree so that I can become a Registered Veterinary Technician. I have always been compassionate about helping animals and interested in expanding my knowledge about them. Between going to school and working, I stay busy, but I like to spend my free time outdoors. I enjoy going on four wheeler rides, fishing, camping, hunting, shooting skeet, and spending time with friends. I also enjoy spending time with my cat Tom, my pitbull named Roxy, and my boston terrier named Chloe.
